Bay of Plenty East Network Outcomes Contract Awarded

Bay of Plenty East Network Outcomes Contract

NZTA have awarded the Bay of Plenty East Network Outcomes Contract (NOC) to a partnership led by Higgins.

The maintenance contract covers the area including Rotorua, Whakatane, Opotiki and Kawerau districts and is effective from the 1 July 2014.

Higgins have partnered with  Beca and Bay of Plenty contractors Waiotahi, Combined Roads and Traffic (CRTS) to deliver the contract.   The contract will run over seven years.

The new NZTA maintenance operating framework (NOC) is designed to deliver improved road maintenance efficiencies and reduced costs by decreasing the number of contracts across a region.  The NOC is focused on providing performance based high quality outcomes for the state highway network and all road users.
