Higgins has been responsible for the construction of civil works infrastructure for 360mW of wind generation in the past 14 years.

Higgins has also been the head civil contractor on New Zealand’s four largest wind farms to date: Meridian's Projects Te Apiti, Mill Creek and West Wind, and TrustPower's Tararua T3. We have provided formal early contractor involvement in most of these projects. This has included civil design review, material analysis, pavement and concrete mix design, environmental and traffic management planning, risk assessment, construction planning, specification, and cost review.
