Importing and supplying bulk bitumen as well as manufacturing asphalt and specialist bitumen products

Our modern bitumen emulsion plant produces high-performance bitumen emulsions for chip sealing. The semi-continuous plant uses state-of-the-art process control.

Our plant also produces some of the best-performing bitumen in the country with synthetic polymers and additive blended in to improve durability and engineering performance. The plant also converts bitumen into hot and emulsified products ranging from general purpose emulsified bitumen to specialised spray seal, slurry seal systems, crack seal and colour coatings.

We have also been manufacturing asphalt since the 1970s. From our 12 permanent and two mobile production plants we use the latest technology to blend and mix aggregate, bitumen, modifiers, polymers, fillers, and pelletised fibre.

We cover the complete spectrum of asphalt mixes, from hard-wearing rut resistant mixes like SMA (stone mastic asphalt) to open mixes designed for lower noise and better water dispersion.

Bitumen and asphalt quality is assured through our IANZ-registered laboratories that design all formulas and test samples in-house to ensure they meet quality and performance specification.

Bitumen sprayers and tankers

Our laboratories are International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) accredited and equipped to test a comprehensive range of materials and products, from soil types and aggregates to asphalt and bitumen.

Our laboratories collaborate with our product development team to create innovative products and high-performance paving solutions, from new asphalt formulas to bituminous materials, surfaces, and pavement designs.

Road maintenance and asset management

Managing central and local government maintenance contracts for state highways, urban and rural roads

Our asset management teams ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of road networks and look after all aspects of road maintenance from ‘fenceline to fenceline'. That means we’re doing work from cutting grass, clearing culverts and filling potholes through to resurfacing and emergency remedial work.

Road marking

Providing a comprehensive range of surface marking options for all road marking requirements

No job is too big or too small. This includes the marking necessary for road safety, car parks and sports courts.
